Trip Report: Baseline Taphouse

After I woke up from my nap we were off to Frozen Ever After. This is such a simple show, but I really like it. The whole crowd (kids and adults alike) all really get into it. I did not off a few times but that was all me and has nothing to do with the quality of the show. 

When we got out I asked if we could find somewhere to buy a pretzel. I was hoping that would help perk me up.

We ended up at Baseline Taphouse. It just opened a week earlier so we wanted to check it out anyways. Plus, my brother is really into craft beers and brew pubs so my dad wanted to get pictures for him.

I got the pretzels and I enjoyed it. The mustard was good-it's just a brown mustard. The beer cheese kind of grew on me as I ate it.

Then, we were off to Muppet Vision. I absolutely did take a nap this time. Again, it has nothing to do with the quality of the show. When I get this exhausted I basically lose control of my body.

I wanted to at least stop in Pizzerizzo since we wouldn't have a chance to eat here. Rizzo is my favorite muppet because Muppet Takes Manhattan is the movie I watched a lot as a kid. So, I wanted to support him in his new venture.

I also stole a sugar packet from the condiment bar and basically shot it. It was another attempt at a pick me up.

Then, my dad wanted to go back to Baseline Taphouse for the black cherry soda and another pretzel. I hadn't realized they had a strawberry lemonade so I was game.

The soda is weird because it has no dye and is clear. But it was good. The strawberry lemonade was delicious and refreshing.

We also got the spiced almonds. They were addicting and they had a nice kick. The whole thing was a fun afternoon snack.

Trip Report: For the First Time in Forever

After lunch we had to head for the World Showcase because we had Frozen FastPasses. 

We stopped in the Odyssey building on our way. My parents wanted to check out the craft beer stuff because my brother is a huge craft beer fan.

I mostly looked at the Epcot 35 artwork they had hanging up.

They bought my brother a growler. I changed camera batteries and got a new SD card. Then we were on our way again.

World Showcase was a little busy, but it could've been worse.

And we were at Norway in no time. I really enjoyed the attraction. The projections and animatronics are very well done. The Let it Go scene is pretty cool and a good use of that ride feature from Maelstrom. I'm glad we have another FastPass scheduled for later in the trip.

We checked out the gift shops in Norway for a little bit. Someday I'll buy something Helly Hanson just because my initials are also HH.

We continued to walk around the world and stopped in France to watch the movie. There was a little bit of a wait, but at least it was in the AC.

It was a nice video, but sitting in a cool theatre with little to keep you captivated can lead to napping. The film could be updated and maybe get a new narrator. Like Martin Short is great in O'Canada.

We stopped in the gift shop to buy some water, but there wasn't any. Denise did a pressed penny.

Then, it was time to head out. There was some bottled water at the shop by the International Gateway. So, we bought some water and then waited for a boat.

Day 7, Part 4: Frozen Fever

After our delicious "linner" we just go in line for the 5 PM frozen show.

The video they play about Arendale 101 is hilarious. Although we were waiting for a long time so I watched it dozens of times. It's great that Disney does stuff like this to entertain you while you are in line.

The show was a little delayed, but eventually we were let in. We ended up about halfway back from the stage and in the middle of the row. Score!

It was a great show. I really like Frozen so I was already on board because of the music. But the historians were fantastic. I love that they include jokes for the parents/adults. The guy historian we had was especially great.

And the ending! It's so moving and amazing. And it was perfectly executed.

My dad enjoyed it, too. I would consider it a must do and am happy we waited to see the show.
