Trip Report: Dinosaur & Dinosaurs & More Dinosaurs (Day 3, Part 1 | November 2020)

If you missed the last update, you can read it here.

Day 3 was another Animal Kingdom day. It was also our last Animal Kingdom day of the trip. It was supposed to rain today so we were hoping that would lead to lower crowds.

Once we got to the park, we headed to Dinosaur. On our way we saw a character boat going by. The Dinosaur line was pretty short and we were able to ride three times. One of the Cast Members working the attraction liked the Hades shirt I was wearing.

The line was getting a little long so we looked at other wait times. Flight of Passage looked good so we headed to Pandora. The wait was about 20 minutes. After the pre-show we were told there was a “problem” so we had to go back out in line. We think someone threw up because a janitor showed up after a couple minutes. They got us back on a different group of bikes (or banshees). We did have to watch the preshow again. They split the group up into the two pre-show rooms and you watch the whole show at one time. That way you are still socially distanced.

Then, we were off to Africa to go on Kilimanjaro Safaris. There was a very active Cheetah which is amazing because they’re usually just lazy cats and are hard to see. We also got to see a baby zebra, but it wasn’t very small anymore.
