The worst part was the departure and return to the station. When you are coming into the station it looks like you’re going to hit the gondola in front of you. Definitely, anxiety inducing.
There was a couple in our gondola who had ridden Rise of the Resistance and were telling us about it. There was another couple and the four of them really connected.
We got off at Caribbean Beach and sat on a bunch to make a plan for the rest of the night. We were hoping to check out Grand Destino, but it looked like we couldn’t. Technically it wasn’t opened yet, but we had hoped. So, we decided to look for a dinner reservation. Initially, we were looking for Via Napoli reservations. But instead we got a 6:50 reservation for Trattoria al Forno. We’d only had breakfast there so it would be nice to try something else.
We got back on the Skyliner (headed to Hollywood Studios). Then we walked to the Boardwalk. I’ve done this walk before, but my dad hasn’t. It was a little chilly and windy at times, but the walk isn't that bad.
