Trip Report: The Family's All Together

If you missed the last update, you can check it out here.

The Minnie Van was a great way to go. We were picked up quickly and they dropped us off really close to the Pioneer Hall. If we took a bus we would've then had to take the internal bus system. Who knew how long that would've taken.

We met up with the rest of our family, got some custom buttons, and took pictures. The buttons we were wearing tonight said "We crashed the honeymoon."

The PhotoPass photographer was really good. He took a ton of pictures and there were so many with the kids-even them just playing.

Then, it was time to head in for dinner. I was brave (for me) and asked for mac and cheese because I don't liked fried chicken and ribs.

We had 2 big tables next to each other in a "T" shape. Our waiter had a lot to deal with but he was great.

My dad got picked on by Dolly and she was like obsessed with him. She even came back after the show and offered to take a picture which was very nice.

The kids had tons of fun especially one of my cousin's daughter, Hayley. I've never seen her smile so much.

The show had some new songs but was still wonderful and hilarious.

After the show, we hung outside and talked for a little bit. Then, a bunch of us were off to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the night.

When we got to the boat dock a little boy said, "look, it's Rick!" to my dad because he recognized him from the show. My dad is quite the star.

Trip Report: A Breezy Lunch

If you missed the last update, you can check it out here.

When we got to Epcot, I took a few pictures and then we were on our way to the Rose & Crown for our 12:20 lunch reservation. We were meeting my cousins with their 9-month old. They were slightly delayed because of a bug problem in their hotel room. But they got there just in time.

We got seated outside and right on the water. There was a nice cool breeze which made it extra comfortable. I like being on the water there.

I got the bangers and mash like usual and it was delicious...also as usual. I didn't write down what everyone else got. But it was a nice relaxing meal.

We did end up having to ask for our check because we were pushing it for our Soarin' FastPasses.

The FP line was actually like a 20-30 minute wait but that's ok. Lisa (my cousin) waited outside with the baby. They were planning on doing rider swap,  but we ended up running out of time.

This was my first time on the new Soarin'. I liked the new video. The Taj Mahal had my favorite smell. But it still gave me anxiety. I just always have to prepare myself for this ride. And I probably can only ride it one time.

We were going to ride Imagination but it was like 2:30 and we needed to get to Fort Wilderness by 3:30. So, I swung by Starbucks to pick up my bag and ad called a Minnie Van.

We said good-bye to Epcot for the last time this trip and were off.

Trip Report: DVC & Free FastPasses (10/18)

If you missed the last update, you can check it out here.

Today we had a DVC meeting and tour over at Cooper Creek. A driver was picking me up at my hotel at 10:10 AM. So, I was up a little after 8 and took a shower.

I was a little numerous because interacting with strangers stresses me out.

I got around slowly, ate a bagel, and was off to my pick-up location. I was about 20 minutes early, but that's fine.

The gentleman picked me up a little after 10 and then we were off to pick up my parents at Bay Lake Tower. Then, he took us to Wilderness Lodge.

While we waited for the town to start, I found some great pins and put two.

Our guide was named Niko and he was from Greece. He was a fast talker like me. He was also very helpful. He showed us a Cooper Creek studio and one-bedroom. He also kept calling things bananas which was funny.

The rooms were nice and had a good amount of storage, but they aren't really my style. It was nice to check them out especially since we got three free FastPasses each out of the tour.

When we were done, Disney had a driver take us to Epcot. We rode with another couple who were also already DVC owners looking to expand. I think DVC may be an addiction. So, are annual passes.
