Day 7, Part 5: Dreams of your Imagination

When we left Frozen it was almost six and we had 5:55 fastpasses for Star Tours.

That's a really intense ride. We had the exact same sequence as our last ride which is a little disappointing. I really wanted to go to Hoth, but instead we podrace every time.

Then, we rested for a little bit. On our way to Fantasmic we also grabbed a funnel cake (each) from the Oasis Canteen which I love and highly recommend.

Because we did the dinner package, we got priority seating. We ended up four rows back which is were we usually sit anyways.

I kind of miss the old warm-up crew because they really hype up the crowd. But the music was ok-there was a remix of Tale as Old as Time.

While we waited, Dad was thirsty and got a beer. He said the drink lines were crazy and that was the only thing he could get without wandering around the amphitheater.

Fantasmic was amazing as per usual. I get a little teary-eyed when the lady comes on for the intro-even when I just hear it on YouTube videos. This is my favorite nighttime event.

After the show ended it was eight, but we decided to call it an early night. I had to change hotels the next day so I had to pack. We waited for the theater to clear out before leaving. It's better to sit and wait than to stand and wait in my opinion.

Day 7, Part 4: Frozen Fever

After our delicious "linner" we just go in line for the 5 PM frozen show.

The video they play about Arendale 101 is hilarious. Although we were waiting for a long time so I watched it dozens of times. It's great that Disney does stuff like this to entertain you while you are in line.

The show was a little delayed, but eventually we were let in. We ended up about halfway back from the stage and in the middle of the row. Score!

It was a great show. I really like Frozen so I was already on board because of the music. But the historians were fantastic. I love that they include jokes for the parents/adults. The guy historian we had was especially great.

And the ending! It's so moving and amazing. And it was perfectly executed.

My dad enjoyed it, too. I would consider it a must do and am happy we waited to see the show.

Day 7, Part 3: Another New Experience

We had to wait for Denise who spent the morning resting at the hotel. Because of our Toy Story fastpasses we decided yo wait in Pixar Place.

First, I  stopped and bought the best pin ever!

After a couple minutes, we were inside and riding. I sat with a stranger which had never happened before. We were both surprised but I wasn't upset about it.

I can't seem to do better than 130,000, but it was still a fun ride.

Look what we found.

We had reservations at Mama Melrose's at 2:45 so we thought Muppet Vision would be a good next attraction since they were in the same area. Plus, it's always funny.

Then, we checked in early for our reservation early.

Now, a few hours earlier I noticed we had fastpasses for Frozen Ever After which we couldn't make because of our "linner'. I was really upset because this was one attraction I was looking forward to. So, we decided to try to stand-by for the 5 PM show.

As another new experience we were trying the Fantasmic dinner package. For $45 you get a fountain drink, appetizer, entree, and a shared dessert.

Here's what we got:

Apps: Denise-tuna, dad-mussels, me-tomato and mozzarella. I was the only one that liked what I got.

Entree: They got the charred strip steak and I got the penne with chicken and four cheese sauce. Mine was delicious and I had to stop myself from finishing it so I would have room for dessert. My dad said it was the best steak  he's ever had.

Desert was a combination platter of chocolate canoli cake, cheesecake-we think amaretto, and tiramisu. The canoli cake was kind of meh. The cheesecake was good and not too rich. I don't like coffee, but the cream on the tiramisu was good.

Overall, it was a good meal and worth the money.

Day 7, Part 2: Boats, Boats, Boats

It was almost 11:30 so we decided to go back to The Land to get lunch at Sunshine Seasons.

Is each section of seating supposed to be a different season? Can't believe I never noticed this before. We sat in the Winter section. Does anyone else think of Frozen every time they see a snowflake design?

I got chicken ceasar salad and a bottle of water. The chicken was a little dry, but pretty good. Dad got the Mongolian beef which he liked. He said it had a little bit of heat to it.

We had Toy Story fastpasses at 1:30 so we were off to the Studios. We decided to take the boat so we had to get to the International Gateway. So, we got on another boat. We took the friendship boat in the World Showcase to Morocco and then walked to the International Gateway.

The boat between the parks takes awhile since it stops at all the resorts between them, but it's beautiful and peaceful. Sometimes you need that calmness.
