Trip Report: Dinner at San Angel Inn (Day 7, Part 4 | Dinner at San Angel Inn)

It was getting closer to dinnertime so we decided to head toward Mexico again. We got in line, because we still didn’t know they were letting people in with ADRs. We were early because of this, too.

They wouldn’t let us check in early so we walked around the vendors. We saw a man doing glass work in the shop near the Three Caballeros queue. It was so fascinating to watch and I really enjoyed it. Dad and I both highly recommend checking it out. He was a true artist.

Then, it was time to eat. This restaurant is still a little dark for me, but it’s really beautiful. It was extra nice because they were at reduced capacity so not too crowded or loud. I enjoyed my food, but it wasn’t very memorable. Dad was happy because they had plantains and he loves them.

After dinner, we went back to Future World. We wanted to do Test Track at night since that didn’t work out last time. There was no audio in our car. We didn’t mind because we could probably provide our own commentary. I did tell a Cast Member so one would have a lesser experience. He offered to let us ride again, but we didn't feel like we missed out on anything.

We stopped in MouseGear to do some shopping. My dad did buy my stepmom a sweater. Then, we called it a night. At the hotel, I showered and packed because it’s our last night.

Trip Report: The Jammin’ Chefs (Day 7, Part 3 | The Jammin’ Chefs)

The Jammitors were playing soon so we headed to the American Gardens Theatre. While we were waiting for the show to start, we heard the music for a cavalcade. We hadn’t seen one in Epcot yet so that was exciting. The music is very loud and hard to miss!

After seeing some character friends, we returned to our seats and enjoyed a performance from the Jammitors or the Jammin’ Chefs. They are great performers with a side of corny jokes.

Since we’d completed our scavenger hunt we went to Future World. We took a detour to get some Brazilian cheese bread. And we did come across another cavalcade on our way out.

First, we headed to Test Track. It’s always a fun ride for us. Then, we went to The Land to check out Soarin’. The wait was posted as 20 minutes, so we decided to ride. Honestly, this ride scares me, but I’m trying to be brave on this trip. It is beautiful...but terrifying.

Trip Report: The Donut Box (Day 7, Part 2 | November 2020)

First we got a late breakfast at the Donut Box. We got chocolate donuts and the apple fritter ones. They were both very good.

We wanted to finish our hunt for Remy so we were off to the World Showcase. We started in Mexico. In addition to looking for Remy we rode the Three Caballeros ride. It was hard to find Remy here, but we were ultimately successful. When we left the pyramid, there was a line to get in. We asked what happens if we have a reservation because this is where we’re having dinner tonight. The CM said we’d have to wait in the line. I’ve since learned they have a special entrance for people with ADRs.

Next, we stopped in Norway and found Remy pretty easily. Dad stopped in the bathroom and I met a lizard friend. Before moving on we relaxed on a bench here.

Then, we stopped in China. I haven’t spent a lot of time here, but it’s a very beautiful pavilion.

In Germany we did some shopping. There was a special passholder shop. Most of the stuff was on sale plus your AP discount. You had to show your AP card before going in. I picked up a Passholder exclusive shirt from Flower and Garden for less than $10. We also checked out the train display which is always full of fun details.

After an obnoxious amount of time, we finished the Remy scavenger hunt. Seriously, it was almost impossible to find him in Italy. But we were ultimately victorious.
